Brian Tull creates meticulous oil and acrylic based paintings that register as photographs rather than paintings at first glance.  Each piece is coated with an auto body clear-coat which creates a reflective, high-gloss surface corollary to the glistening cars, lips, and lacquered nails featured as subjects. Tull sees photorealism as a means of focusing on the complexity of a single moment, and finding stories within those details.

Brain Tull currently lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee.  His paintings have been exhibited nationally and are featured in multiple corporate and private collections.  Tull has also been awarded multiple grants and commissions to create custom pieces of artwork and murals around the country.
