TINNEY CONTEMPORARY

Tinney Contemporary is a Nashville-based art gallery specializing in collectible contemporary works by established local, regional, national, and international artists. We present a series of rotating exhibitions throughout the year and participate in the First Saturday Art Crawl on the first Saturday of each month.

In addition to presenting exhibitions, we also provide professional art services to individual collectors, as well as banks, law firms, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and other businesses. We assist our clients with every aspect of the process of selecting, purchasing, framing, shipping, and installing artwork.


Tinney Contemporary was established on 5th Avenue in downtown Nashville in 2006 during the initial emergence of galleries to what is now known as the Downtown Arts District. Susan Tinney founded the gallery after spending many years hosting pop-up exhibitions across Nashville. The gallery was established on the ground floor of the historic Kress building, where it is still located today. Since then, Susan Tinney and her gallery have been involved with the growing art scene across Nashville, including helping establish First Saturday Art Crawl in 2006 which now draws hundreds of art enthusiasts and collectors. The gallery currently represents a diverse network of established artists from across the globe and continues to operate at its original
location in downtown Nashville.



SUBMISSION POLICY


Artist submissions should be made directly to the gallery via the general email info@tinneycontemporary.com Proposals should include a website link with images of work, an image list (including title, medium, size and date, pricing), resume/CV, and brief artist statement.  

We do not accept submissions made in person or over the phone. Due to the large volume of submissions, we cannot guarantee a response to each application.
